Elections
We are going to take power.
We gather people in public squares and we train them to disobey, but the laws that decide who owns the future are still written by whoever wins elections. So we intend to be there. Not in a decade, and not once we are ready, but at the next elections we can credibly contest.

How we contest elections
There are three ways to carry this movement onto a ballot paper, and you do not have to wait for a party to exist in your country before you start.
Stand as an independent
Where founding a party is not possible or not yet sensible, you stand under your own name with the movement organising behind you.
Work with allies
Where a party already shares our values, we would rather win with them than split the vote. Members can carry our programme inside the parties they already belong to.

Italy 2027
We are exploring Italy as our first electoral test. The next general election falls in 2027, in a country where governments are signing away control over digital infrastructure as fast as the contracts can be drafted, and where the political class has done almost nothing about the concentration of power we are organising against. It is the argument we want to make, in a place where it will be heard.
Andrea Venzon, who co-founded this movement, is willing to stand. Whether we do it depends on the people who come forward, because a serious campaign in Italy needs signatures in every constituency, volunteers in every region and a team that can carry it. If enough of us are there, we run. If not, we will say so openly and put our strength elsewhere.
